The Vallabhassery group of Traditional Ayurvedic Physicians belongs to the Central Travancore region of Kerala. More than four generation of the Vallabhassery family had concentrated only in the Ayurvedic field. Dr. Binoy Vallabhassery studied D.H.M.S. in the first Homoeopathic college
of Asia - "The Athurasramam Homeopathic Medical College," Kurichy near Kottayam.
After completing D.H.M.S. he gained his Bachelor degree in Homoeopathy from
Dr. Padyar Memorial Homoeopathic College, Chottanikkara, near Cochin, affiliated
to Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam.Dr. Binoy Vallabhassery has been practising
as a homoeopath for the last 10 years. In 1994 he became the treasurer
of Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala, Kottayam Unit. In 1995 he became
the unit secretary of IHK, in 1996 State Council member, in 1997 State Executive
Committee member, and in 1998 he became the District Co-ordinator of IHK.
